Rewati Raman Dhakal

Rewati Raman Dhakal is the Founder of the Nepal Centre for Philanthropy and Development (NCPD), an initiative dedicated to strengthening local nonprofit organizations across Nepal through institutional development, program strategy, resource mobilization, partnership building, and impact storytelling.

Over the years, Rewati has worked with several prominent national and international organizations, including the United Nations (UN) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), both in Nepal and in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

He has traveled extensively across Nepal, directly engaging with communities in more than 65 districts, including many remote and underserved areas. These experiences have provided him with deep insight into the realities faced by vulnerable populations including animals have shaped his long-term commitment to strengthening grassroots civil society organizations dedicated to serving marginalized and underrepresented communities and species.

Rewati brings a strong personal commitment to environmental sustainability and animal welfare. His passion for social change, compassion for animals, and continued support to the work of Sneha’s Care position him to contribute meaningfully to advancing our mission and strengthening efforts to promote animal welfare in Nepal.
