Sneha’s Care stands as a beacon of hope, a not-for-profit sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and nurturing a diverse range of animals in Kathmandu. With over 180 dogs and a multitude of cats, pigs, buffalo, cows, and goats, each one saved from the streets or from horrendous acts of cruelty, our sanctuary offers refuge and rehabilitation.

During your visit, you’ll be fully immersed in the sanctuary life, engaging in hands-on interactions with our rescued animals and hearing their inspiring stories. Indulge in a delectable local meal included in your visit, and enjoy the convenience of pick-up and drop-off from any Kathmandu hotel.

Suitable for ages 10 to 75, the day trip spans 4.5-5 hours, including travel time. The tour is in English (Nepalese is also an option).

Your itinerary:

9:30 am: Begin your journey with a private transfer from your hotel in Kathmandu to Sneha’s Care.
10:00 am: Meet our beloved animals as soon as you arrive. Learn about their remarkable journeys and explore the sanctuary premises.
10:45 am: Dive into volunteering activities tailored to your skills and our sanctuary’s needs. Whether it’s portioning food, creating enrichment activities, or simply spending quality time with the dogs and farm animals, there’s something for everyone.
12:00 pm: Savor a delightful Nepalese lunch, featuring a variety of vegan dishes like curries, roti, and momos. You’ll get to choose from a menu.
1:00 pm: Bid farewell to your new found furry friends, capturing lasting memories and spreading awareness through photos.
1:30 pm: Conclude your visit as you’re chauffeured back to your hotel.

For groups of 4 or more, private day visits can be arranged upon request.

Additional details:

Attire: Please wear comfortable, loose clothing and closed-in sports shoes. Don’t forget to bring water and sunscreen.
Supervision: Children under 16 must be closely supervised and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Cancellation Policy: Kindly notify us at least 36 hours prior to your visit for a full refund.
Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, alternative dates or full refunds will be provided.
Group Size: This tour accommodates a maximum of 7 guests, ensuring an intimate and personalised experience.
