Henloo, I’m Khaire! I know… I know… you must be thinking, o man, which Khaire is this! Well it’s very easy to differentiate me from the others. I got only 3 legs. And you’ll see me mostly outside the shelter. I enjoy my own little space, but when I see someone kind, I’ll come running for love and attention.

Life on the streets of Dhobighat was incredibly tough. I had no shelter, no one to care for me, and every day was a struggle to survive. One day, while walking through the streets, a speeding vehicle hit me. The impact crushed my front paw, and the pain was unbearable. Infection spread quickly, and despite the amazing efforts of the doctors at Sneha’s Care, my front limb had to be amputated to save my life.

But losing a limb didn’t stop me, it gave me a second chance in life. Today, I’m a happy and playful dog, full of love and gratitude. To the kind person reading this, please be kind to everyone and brake for us innocents living in the streets. Looking forward to meeting you with wagging tails at the shelter gate.
