Kalea
Hi, I’m Kalea
I was abandoned by my mother’s owner. They separated us and left me alone on the road. I had been struggling to survive, I had many wounds and I cannot even explain the pain I had been enduring. Nobody was there to feed me or take care of me. With hunger, starvation, thirst and the wounds, my system went down and I collapsed in a cornfield. I was bleeding severely, when a few kind people found me. They rescued me late in the evening, and out of compassion, they named me Kalea. I didn’t know what to expect from life anymore. The pain and loneliness felt endless, but the people at Sneha’s Care gave me hope.
With time, life showed me a better side of life as well. It made me believe how people around you affects your life as well. I would like request people to be more kind to animals. A special message to the owners of my mother: Kindly do not abandon the calves like me just because you want more amount of milk, and just because I wouldn’t have been economically productive being a male calf. I miss my mother as I hope that they treat her well. Thank you for reading my story and you can be an important part of my story. You can be my godparents and support my stay the shelter.
