Hi, I’m Sapana

Ummm… hi. I’m Sapana. I guess you could say I’m a bit of a loner. I get scared when people approach me, so please, keep your distance. The shelter feels a bit empty without my kids around. I miss them dearly, and no matter how much time passes, I don’t think I can ever get back to my old self.

My journey started back in 2017 in Kirtipur. I was a struggling mom, suffering from a severe skin infection. I feel so guilty for what happened to my puppies because I was the one who passed this pain to them. We moved from place to place, always running, always trying to survive, but no one ever showed us kindness. We only knew hate.

One day, as we were hiding in the bushes, a kind soul saw us. They called Sneha’s Care, and that’s when our journey to a second life began. We started getting better, day by day, but then tragedy struck. My puppies suddenly fell sick. Despite the efforts to save them, we couldn’t. I lost both of them. Since then, I haven’t been able to get back to myself.

But, I’m lucky. I have a godparent who looks after my needs, even though I cannot give back the love they show me.
