Hi, I’m Mia

Hi there, I’m Mia. I’m a little timid at first, but once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m sweet and gentle. I love to play with my friend Lapsi, but I’m always wondering if he feels the same way about me. I’ve made so many friends here at the shelter, all of us around the same age, and I love spending time with them.

Before arriving here, I was living on the streets of Bungmati. One tragic day, I was hit by a vehicle. I had a deep, painful wound on my neck, and I couldn’t even stand up. It felt like the world was against me. I was alone, suffering, and too weak to move. I cried out for help, but no one came. That’s when a kind person reached out and called Sneha’s Care. They came quickly, took care of my wounds, and decided to bring me to their shelter on October 17, 2024.

At first, I was so weak, so thin and malnourished. I could barely lift my head. But with their love, patience, and care, I’ve been healing every day. I’ve grown stronger and more beautiful, and now, I even have a sponsor who named me! Even though they’re far away, their love reaches me all the way here. I’m so grateful for all the care and love that I now get to experience. It’s been a tough journey, but I’m finally feeling safe, happy, and loved.
