Jaundice, a buildup of yellow pigment in the blood and tissue, which causes a yellow discoloration in the skin, gums and eyes. This is also called icterus or yellow jaundice. The most abvious symptom of jaundice in dogs is a yellow diacolouring of the eyes, gums or skin especially on the ear flaps. This poor furry was brought at our shelter by a kind animal lover Rosie Rai from Bhangal, Budhanilkantha. She was found suffering from Jaundice. As there is no specific treatment for the dogs suffering from Jaundice, the main goal is to identify its causes and to treat it as specifically as possible. We are trying our best to find its causes through different tests including bilirubin blood test. She is under the intense care and observation of our team. We hope and pray for her quicker recovery.
