As the population of the street dogs is increasing at a fast rate, we need to control it. The best way to control it is by sterilizing the dogs. That's why we conduct spay/neuter programme at our shelter time and again. We have spayed/neutered all the dogs at the shelter and we also bring in the dogs from outside for their family planning surgery. In these past four days, besides the usual treatment, our vet successfully conducted surgery of 10 dogs from both inside and outside the shelter. Yes, this was a hectic task to manage both treatment and surgery side by side but our doctor and vets have never passion to test their skills.
