A Quick Review to October

November 2, 2017

We had many activities taking place during October. We not only did regular treatment and rescue of dogs. Multiple tasks went through at th e shelter. Our dogs were vaccinated against Distemper and Rabies. Along with that each one of them were dewormed. We successfully conducted Spaying/Castration project. Total of 67 female dogs were spayed and 40 male dogs were castrated as a measure to control street dogs' population. Side by side, our team could attain 54 cases of treatment outside shelter and total of 20 dogs were rescued on a busy schedule. We celebrated Kukur Tihar in a grand way as our dogs are very special to us. We have a bull calf and we even worshipped him on Goru Puja. The month has given us hope to be more responsible and focused on welfare of the dogs.
