There are over 160 different skin disorders of dogs, some of which create chronic difficulties. Skin disorders of dogs vary from acute, self-limiting problems to chronic or long-lasting problems requiring life-time treatment. Skin disorders may be primary or secondary (due to scratching, itch) in nature, making diagnosis complicated. Nearly all dog skin disease starts with an itch. He may not only scratch but continually lick his skin.
With the hope to end skin disease by curing them in time, we, for the second time conducted the Camp for skin problem dogs with Young Drukpa Association - YDA, Nepal at Swayambhu. We believe that a single vaccine cannot treat skin disease. For this sake, the camp was reorganized. More than fifty street dogs were treated today. The program started at 7:30 am and end at 12:00 pm. The same camp will continue even on coming Saturday.
