Our success in mobile treatments in the month of May 2019
We get several calls by the public every day reporting the injured & sick animals. We are so much trying to help and reach each and every animal that we get reported. But we cannot reach everywhere because of the distance, workload, too many rescues every day and limited resources.
Because our shelter is full of animals we cannot take animals into our shelter unless we release the dogs from the shelter back to the community or unless someone adopts them.
Our mobile treatment unit goes out in the street every day and medically treat them on the street. We experienced that the dogs treated in the street recovers faster than treating them inside the shelter. Hence we are focusing on the Mobile Treatment and also involving the community for the post care.
In the month of May, we were able to help 145 dogs in the street, We also rescued 11 dogs and brought them to the shelter for treatment for these dogs were critical and needed observation and timely treatment including 2 dogs and 1 goat from Hetauda when our founder president was on her way for relief distribution of the storm hit Bara and Parsa. We also rescued 3 calves to our shelter as they were left abandoned in the streets by their owners.
Thank you Lush Charity Pot UK, for supporting us in Mobile Treatment.
