The Order of the Ministers of the Infirm, popularly known as Camillians,was founded by St. Camillus de Lellis. We are involved in the health care ministry for the past 450 years and are committed to holistic health care with a preferential option for the poor sick. CPHC (Camillian Pastoral Health Centre) is a step in our health care initiatives that adds a new perspective to healing ministry of the Church in India. What CPHC is for? This centre would provide opportunity for health care providers to explore and practice “compassionate health care and treatment practices” in the context of health care that is becoming more and more ‘commercialized’. We try to impart holistic training and support in the health care world, based on the Gospel values and ‘the New School of Charity’ St. Camillus started around 450 years ago. The centre will be affiliated to “Camillianum” in Rome and other Resource centres across the world.
